V statě rasmatryvajetsja češskij isledovatělskij intěres k beloruskoj problematike v period s pervoj treti XIX. v. po rubež XIX.-XX. vv. Za pervogi českogodějatěla, kotoryj vključil v svoi raboty belorusskuju těmatiku, možno sčitať Pavla Jozefa Šafarika. Vo vtoroj polovině XIX. v.rost naučnogo intěresa k belorusskim sjužetam našel otraženie v češskich naučno-poipuljarnych periodičeskich izdanijach. Češskije isledovatěli (I. Ja. Ganuš, K. Ja. Erben, P. Sobotka i Ja. Machal) naibolšee vnimanie uděljali ustnoj narodnoj slovesnosti (narodnyje pesni, mifologija, skazki ili poslovicy). Glavnym istočnikom znanija o belorusach dlja češskich znatokov byli raboty russkich i polskich avtorov. V 1880-e gg dva pervych čecha, dvižimye interesom k slavjanskoj problematike i pesennomu folkloru, posetili neposredstvenno territorii belorusskich guberniij. Pervym byl chudožnik isobiratel muzikalnogo folklora Ljudvik Kuba, sledom za nim – slavist i isledovatel slavjanskogo narodnogo folklora Adolf Černy, posetivšij beloruskie zemli dva raza. Imenno on stal v češskoj isledovatělskoj tradicii centralnoj figuroj, kotoraja s razvitiem belorusskogo nacionalnogo dviženija v načale XX. V. publikovala na stranicach češskich periodičeskich izdanij (gl. Obr. Slovanskij pršegled (Slovanský přehled) i Čas materialy o razvitii nacionálních ustremlenij belorusov.

The study analyzes Czech research interest in Belarusian issues, especially from the first third of the 19th century to the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. Pavel Jozef Šafárik can be considered the first personality to include Belarusian themes in his work. In the second half of the 19th century, professional interest was already growing and Belarusian topics appeared in Czech popular science periodicals. Czech researchers (I. J. Hanuš, K. J. Erben, P. Sobotka or J. H. Máchal) showed interest mainly in oral folk literature (national songs, mythologies, fairy tales or proverbs). The basic source for Czech Researchers were the works of Russian and Polish authors. In the eighties of the 19th century, two Czechs, motivated by their interest in Slavic issues, went directly to the territory of Belarusian gubernias, where they collected Belarusian national songs. First it was the painter and collector of musical folklore Ludvík Kuba, followed by the Slavist and researcher with considerable interest in Slavic folklore Adolf Černý, who even visited the Belarusian territory twice. It was Černý who became the central figure in Bohemia who, with the development of the Belarusian national movement at the beginning of the 20th century, wrote in the pages of Czech periodicals (mainly Slovanský přehled [Slavic Review] and Čas [Time]) about all the national efforts of Belarusians at that time.
