The paper focuses on the relationship between visual and phonic poetry, especially in the context of Czech experimental poetry of the 1960s, considering also the Czech-German context. On the one hand, visual and phonic poetry represent distinct and separate fields, but on the other hand, there are many intersections: visual compositions can be multisensory and evoke acoustic sensations. Accordingly, many visual compositions have been processed into sound form, and the works in question exist in two media versions.
