Utilization of microsatelites and AFLP procedures in evaluation of breeding for Fusarium head blight (FHB).
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The number of eight accessions including five expected resistance donors and three sensitive lines were tested in field tests. Two cultivars originated in Czech Republic and they represent well adopted plant material. Lines CI 4196, PEC 210 and cvs. Chevron and Victor were characterised as resistant with average infection below 2%. The finding was affirmed also by laboratory tests and DON content measurement. Correlation among the data sets We confirmed that the Fusarium infection level is positively correlated to the grain DON-toxin content. To assess the diversity within the evaluated set of possibly breeding material AFLP and SSR markers were employed. Cluster analysis based on AFLP and SSR markers show association among genotypes. DH lines resultingfrom combination Chevron x PI38393 were clustered together. The second cluster was form by three sub-clusters of DH lines results.
