The perspective of the Ostrava and Karvina regions has been always connected with huge industrial sites. Anyway, the restructuralizations process, which necessarily occurs today, demands for higher efficiency and liquidation of some divisions, saving andreductions. Many of processes have been cut out of the mother enterprise and started to work as a supplier of its own former company. Ostrava - Karvina region is dominated by have industrial sector. The recent problems, uncompleted restructuralization,unclear legal framework and weak bankruptcy law are the main problems of rising unemployment in the region, which is assigning today the 16-20% level.
