Management of international companies in a rapidly changing world requires adequate support of information and control systems. Such support is difficult to provide on a multinational level using non-homogeneous information system consisting of local subsystems. This paper deals with a multinational ERP project organization and communication model trying to solve challenges of mixing local attitudes with concern guidelines. It has been shown that multinational communication taking all important local view can be successful. Nevertheless, the attitudes of local users, local supporting companies and local management differs a lot country by country. It depends on the management culture in the country, communication means during the project and local language knowledge. Based on experience gained, some ideas on education at universities and business schools are presented.
