Industrial zones as a factor of regional development, distance and time analysis of Moravian borderland
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
An essential factor in the development of regions is a dislocation of industry bodies and the availability of settlement areas. This paper summarizes the analysis of the deployment of industrial zones and municipalities in the border areas of the Region. This region is a good example, which summarizes the characteristics of an industrial affected area, it specifies the development of postcommunist regions and belongs to the central industrial region of Central Europe. A characteristic feature of the region is the high usage of the areas that may, according to some sources of information1, be related to the industrial character of the region, and thus with greater expectations for recovery (traditions, technical and transport facilities, manpower, tolerance to the effects of industry). Zones in the region are characterized by heterogeneous zone sizes (small, medium and large zones). There are space reserves in all types of zones. Four major zones are completely free.
