Employment as an integrative aspect of Ukrainian economic migration: limits, barriers and challenges in the context of industry 4.0
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The paper focuses on one of the basic integration aspects of foreign migrants, namely employment. The target segment is the Ukrainian community. The paper is based on the theory of market segmentation, on the basis of which it evaluates the structure of the Czech labor market. The analysis takes place in three reference levels. The growth of the Ukrainian population in the Czech Republic, irregular practices in the area of residence regimes and employment and the very experience of Ukrainians with living in the Czech Republic. The most frequently persisting phenomena include the so-called client system, employment on a trade license within the so-called švarc system and irregular work activities and related synergies (labor exploitation, human trafficking and illegal employment, abuse of the asylum procedure) blocking adequate economic, social and societal integration and increasing the risk of residential segregation.
