The abstract of a paper presented at the 14th International conference of the International Association for the Treatment of Sexual Offenders, Copenhagen, 7 - 10 September 2016. The paper brought selected findings of the empirical research into 610 criminal cases of violent sex crime, concerning 584 sex offenders and 796 sex offences committed by them. It was focused on the subsample of 157 offenders to whom the quasi-compulsory treatment was imposed in the analysed cases.
