The objective of the event was to bring together some of the top-level security experts and let them analyse and discuss the ongoing shifts in the field of security matters. This year the event focused on the topic of arms control. Our speakers will seek to analyse the existing regime as well as possible consequences of its gradual disappearance. Czernin Security Forum (CSF) was organized by the Institute of International Relations (IIR) in cooperation with the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the Czernin Palace on 20-21 November 2019. The overall topic of the CSF with five panels was “Taking a Global Look at Security and Arms Control”. The CSF achieved intended number of outputs, reached desired objectives, and met the expected outcomes. Forum served as a valuable platform for exchange of ideas on arms control and disarmament between experts, practitioners, academia and the general public.
