Study of recrystallization behaviour of thermomechanically processed steels
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The skope of this thesis is a study of recrystallization behaviour of thermomechanically processed low-alloy steels. For an experimental part the DIN C 45 ferritic-pearlitic steel was chosen because of its large utilizability and a favourable price. Further reason of the material choise was the assumption that 0.5 % C will ensure sufficient amount of carbides to stabilize fine-grained microstructure. Standard forging techniques of thermomechanical processes were tested on samples. The processes were also simulated applying the DEFORM program, which uses the finite element method. Material properties of samples were analyzed. Besides the testing of thermomechanical properties the microstructure study was performed, using the light and electron microscopes and X-ray diffraction. The goal of this thesis was to verify if the methods of thermomechanical processing will improve the C 45 steel's properties and if the quality of this inexpenzive material after the thermomechanical processing w
