One of the most important aims during simulation of real-word processes or developing new ones in the laboratory is to make sure all parameters are applied to the tested specimen with certain accuracy. For material-technological modelling of forming andheat treatment processes these parameters are deformation, force and temperature. While modern test stands allow a very precise control of force or deformation, controlling temperature is more complicated task, especially during rapid cooling (cooling rates can reach more than 100oC per second). In our laboratory we have developed complete system for heating and cooling metal specimens with very precise temperature control while force/deformation can be applied in any moment of the test procedure. The present paper introduces development and final design of new cooling system. This system is able to reach cooling rates up to 100oC per second while maintaining very precise desired temperature of the specimen. The cooling system uses mixt
