The article presents the analysis of an actual assembly process of a motoreducer oriented towards the improvement in the process efficiency. The research was carried out on the basis of observation of an assembly workstation, measurement of realisation time of particular operations, and the FMEA method. On the basis of the research specific changes were proposed, they contribute to shorter realíisation time of operations and to elimination of identified possibilities of error ocurrence. Lean Productionwas characterized and described, and benefits from the proposed changes were estimated.
