The report describes the life cycle costs (LCC) analysis procedure of an existing purely mechanical bogie. This analysis was developed as a methodology for predicting the future life cycle costs of the modernized bogie. Verification of this analysis was carried out by comparison of its results with results of the life cycle costs analysis of an existing bogie which were determined, with some limitations, by collecting data on its operation, maintenance, etc.
