Today "Industry 4.0" its ideas resonate in different countries and on different continents. The article discusses what Industry 4.0 is. The stages of its emergence, formation, and causes are revealed. Its shortcomings and advantages are considered. The concept of using “JavaMach Cluster" is proposed. The purpose of creating JavaMach Cluster – the establishment of a unified educational, scientific, practical platform core of Industry 4.0 based on the use of common standards and Open Source technologies. The ERP system developed by us is considered. The concept of using microservices in the design of ERP systems is proposed.
