The international conference on the topic of “New nuclear source for the Czech Republic – state of preparation in 2020” took place on September 23rd – 24th at the Faculty of Applied Sciences, University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. Among the main speakers of the plenary session were the Rector of UWB doc. Holecek; Ing. Řezník, member of the Government Commissioner for Nuclear Energy; PhDr. Ehler, Director of Nuclear Energy Department, Ministry of Industry and Trade and others. After the plenary session, fife specialized sessions took place in which the representatives of foreign companies participated, for example ROSATOM, KHNP, CGN, EdF and other. The conference was simultaneously translated to English and Czech language. The entire conference was also streamed online on YouTube.
