The QWEB certification scheme covers among others a test of software functionality according to ISO 12119. On the basis of the ISO 12119 (Information technology – Software packages – Quality requirements and testing), it is possible to develop a framework for testing the web applications in compliance with this ISO standard. In addition software functionality, the information security is also important for web applications. That is why, the next part of QWEB quality requirements is buildingup of Information Security Management System according to standard BS 7799-2 (Information Security Management Systems – Specification with guidance for use). In this standard, there are for example the requirements for physical or logical security.Paper will make a summary of standard requirements on web applications and shows the examples of web application functionality testing.
