Evaluation of power distribution along interconnected middle voltage feeders
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Distribution systems are usually operated in radial or open loop configuration. Due to feeder interconnection, the loads can be transferred between feeders in situations such as planned maintenance, service interruption and overloading without unnecessary customer outages. But the difference in voltage phasors between supply substations may result in excessive power flow through interconnected feeders and cause overloading of feeder segments or exceeding of interrupting capacity of switches. Simulation of power distribution along interconnected primary feeders fed from different substations is made. The proposed calculation procedure is verified by field measurement and used for evaluation of power and current distribution along the interconnected feeders. Finally, the impact of the voltage angle difference between interconnected substations on feeder power profile, as well as on current interrupted by sectionalizing switches is discussed.
