Voltage control and load redistribution between decentralized power sources in microgrids in island mode
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Decentralized electricity generation from photovoltaic power plants (PVPPs) has an impact on the operation and regulation of the electric power systems. For the maintaining of the grid quality parameters and for the correct voltage and frequency primary control is important the appropriate load redistribution between individual generators. The aim of this paper is to evaluate whether it is possible load redistribution between two parallel cooperating generators by using the modified virtual method. The basis of the innovation of the virtual frequency and voltage method is the virtual active and reactive power method. The proposed control circuit of the inverter is verified by the simulations of the islanded microgrid (MG) operation in MATLAB Simulink. The results of the simulations show that the proposed control circuit operates properly because the load change is redistributed between the decentralized sources with help the coefficients of the static characteristics uniform. The modified virtual frequency and voltage method can be used to keep the voltage stability in the islanded microgrid, as well.
