The technical solution consists of a unique connection of equipment and method of control to increase the lifetime and flexibility of a rotating source of electrical energy. The device contains a rotational source of electrical energy with an electrical generator connected to a source of mechanical energy, electrical node, power semiconductor converter, device for accumulation of electrical energy, microgrid, control system with active protection of rotational source, power controller and measurement block.
