The XVth century peace project of Czech king George of Podiebrad represented a grand plan that was supposed to form basis of a world-wide peace organisation. It was based on the principle of contractual federation. To some extent, its aims inspired the 20th century United Nations Organisation. Its level of conformity with the aims of the Podiebrad peace project is very high, as the principal aims of the UNO include maintenance of international peace as well as other aims, such as common efforts to settle international disputes.
