On 22.-25. October, 2024 took place in Prague, Czech Republic, 15th Seminar on European and International Criminal Law. The main focus of this international seminar was the issue of protection of human rights in criminal proceedings. The seminar was organized together with the Department of Criminal Law, Faculty of Law Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Law, University in Passau under the guidance of prof. Dr. Robert Esser, Faculty of Law, University of West Bohemia, Faculty of Law University of Palermo, and the Faculty of Law Jagiellonian Univerzity in Krakow. The University of West Bohemia was represented by two students, which presented their paper and were also active in the debate, and one academic. The seminar also included assessment of the students' activities and reflexive discussion of all participants of the seminar.
