The end of the second world war was followed by forced expulsion of the Sudeten Germans from Central and Eastern European countries as Czechoslovakia and Poland. The new era of Czechoslovak-German relations in fact started in 1989 with the fall of iron curtain with importance put on development of relations since the independence of the Czech Republic. Hereby, the quantitative content analysis of the daily press has been tested on four most important events directly or indirectly related to the SudetenGermans. Dailies are examined on four different events: a) Reconciliation '95 initiative and the conseqent Way to Reconciliation in 1996; b) Czech-German declaration signed in Prague in 1997; c) Resolution of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Parliament in 2002; d) the decision made by the Czech President Vaclav Klaus not to sign Lisbon treaty because it could undermine the post-war Benes decrees in 2009. In the summary, the description of results focused on answering the main thesis
