L'étude analyse le contenu de grammaires destinées à l'enseignement-apprentissage du Français Langue Etrangère. Elle passe en revue les différents critères traditionnellement retenus pour définir les notions de phrase et proposition en français. L'analyse didactique de trois grammaires FLE amène l'auteure à questionner les critères de reconnaissance proposés par ces ouvrages. Il en ressort que ces ouvrages font la part belle aux critères sémantiques et graphiques, le critère syntaxique étant en revanche peu convoqué. Ces observations font apparaitre les limites de l'offre didactique dans ce domaine, pourtant essentielle pour permettre aux apprenants d'améliorer leurs compétences en production écrite.

The study analyzes the content of grammars for the teaching-learning of French as a Foreign Language. It reviews the various criteria traditionally used to define the notions of sentence and proposal in French. The didactic analysis of three FLE grammars leads the author to question the recognition criteria proposed by these works. It emerges that these works give pride of place to the semantic and graphic criteria, the syntactic criterion being on the other hand little convened. These observations reveal the limits of the didactic offer in this area, which is essential to enable learners to improve their writing skills.
