Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
This chapter addresses the gender and class biases in Czech Republic´s authorized heritagediscourse, focusing on the culinary memoryscapes of the Czech-Bavarian borderland. Itshowcases how kitchen storytelling and a memory cookbook serve as platforms for voicestraditionally excluded from heritage narratives, emphasizing the importance of everydayexperiences in shaping history. By critiquing heritage management's gender imbalances andexploring women's storytelling, especially in military heritage contexts, the study employs afeminist museology approach to challenge and transform dominant narratives. It highlightsmethods for including marginalized groups in heritage presentation, advocating for a moreinclusive approach that values diverse contributions and stories, thereby enriching the processof preserving and narrating our collective past.
