Angelika Overath behandelt in ihrem Roman Nahe Tage. Roman einer Nacht das Schicksal der 40-jährigen Johanna, deren Mutter und Großeltern nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg aus Böhmen vertrieben wurden und sich in Deutschland niederließen. Der Roman enthält eine Reihe autobiografischer Elemente. Die Großmutter und insbesondere die Mutter übertrugen das Trauma der Vertreibung auf ihre bereits in Deutschland geborene Tochter Johanna. Die Emanzipation der Tochter erfolgt erst nach dem Tod der Mutter, wobei dabei die Auseinandersetzung mit dem Text Kleine Fabel von Franz Kafka eine wichtige Rolle spielt. Der Beitrag widmet sich der Intertextualität im vorliegenden Roman – der Einbindung von Kafkas Text in die Handlung und in den Prozess der Emanzipation.

Angelika Overath deals in her novel Nahe Tage with the fate of 40-year-old Johanna, whose mother and grandparents were expelled from Bohemia after World War II and settled in Germany. The novel contains a number of autobiographical elements. The grandmother and especially the mother transferred the trauma of the expulsion to their daughter Johanna, who was already born in Germany. The daughter gets emancipated after her mother&apos;s death, and dealing with the text Kleine Fabel by Franz Kafka plays an important role in this process. The contribution is devoted to intertextuality in the given novel - the involvement of Kafka&apos;s text in the plot and process of emancipation.
