Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art in Pilsen held a full-day workshop for doctoral students led by Dr. John Fass from the University of the Arts in London (UAL), who works as an interaction and interface designer. His work spans diverse fields such as healthcare, engineering and music, but consistently emphasizes narrative readability and clarity of purpose. The guiding principle is the ethical and moral responsibility of the designers of digital technologies and careful consideration of how they intersect with human behaviour. The workshop provided an opportunity for doctoral students to place their artistic and design practice in the context of contemporary research. Combining their own research priorities, students worked to create a research vision from the institutional to the international level. They analysed partners and collaborators in research, priorities, applications and outputs in practice, types of structural and logistical support required. The result of the workshop were concrete revised research plans, material research and proposed forms of practical outputs. A total of 12 participants participated in the workshop and the results were presented together at the end of the event.
