Market competition has dramatically increased over the last two decades and enterprises have had to improve the effectiveness of business activity. Thus, Performance Measurement has begun to play a key role in manufacturing enterprises. This concept hasgained great popularity in recent years. In this paper, a Performance Measurement System dedicated to the order acceptance process in make-to-order companies is proposed. A new set of financial and non-financial performance indicators is identified, which helps to monitor and control decision making and strategy realization in small and medium industrial enterprises. The suggested solution allows strategic goals of the organization to be defined and achieved and, therefore, leads to future company improvement.
