The surface reconstruction from planar slices is important for medical data visualization. One set of planar slices where each slice ontains several contours, is usually used as an input. This kind of reconstruction is quite difficult and results of these methods have shortcomings, such as incorrect slices correspondence. If it is possible to use more than one set of planar slices then the reconstruction is easier and the accuracy of its results increases.
