Present software systems become more and more sophisticated. Their development and testing therefore becomes more difficult. Various methods of simulation are often used in software life-cycle.However, with the increasing complexity of software systems,classic paradigms are gradually getting insufficient. Log file analysis can help in the case where simulation is difficult or impossible. This short article describes how log analysis can participate in software testing and validation.
