This paper summarizes the results of the application of spectral tuning in identification of parameters of the dynamic model of the reactor VVER 1000 support cylinder. Since the past calculations have proved that spectral tuning by the changes of mass parameters is not effective, this paper shows what improvements are achieved when the geometric parameters of the reactor model are also included in the tuning process.
