Secure Operation of Flexible Technologies in Distribution Power Networks
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Energy environment is proceeding significant changes, which establish new market arrangements following by penetration of novel technological trends. The complexity of the environment is rapidly increasing. Novel market arrangements brings unprecedented opportunities to prosumers for commercialization of their power flexibility potential. While prosumers aim to maximize their economical benefits, distribution system operators are facing increasing requirements on efficient operation of distribution system. This paper presents a novel coordination possibility, which reduces its complexity via region-based method of secure power injections. Introduced method actively monitors a distribution power network operation and efficiently evaluate nodal security margins of power injections, which determine secure area, where prosumers can change their power injections arbitrary without violation of network security criteria. Functionality of the proposed method is illustrated in a case study focused on distribution power network monitoring.
