Název v původním jazyce
Software for computing homogenized coefficients of acoustic transmission on perforated interfaces for 2D problems
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The software serves homogenized transmission conditions imposed on the interface plane separating two halfspaces occupied by the acoustic medium. The conditions are obtained as the two-scale homogenization limit of the standard acoustic problem imposed in the layer perforated by a sieve-like obstacle with periodic structure. Both the characteristic scale of the perforations and the layer thickness are parametrized by a small parameter tending to 0. The limit model involving some homogenized coefficientsgoverns the interface discontinuity of the acoustic pressure associated with the two halfspaces and the magnitude of the transverse acoustic velocity. This novel approach allows for treatment of complicated designs of perforations and presents an alternative to the usual description of the acoustic impedance, which relies on a rough averaging the quasi-experimental data.
