Efficacy of the education of children and youth in the field of civil protection and crisis management can best be achieved through professional preparation of future teachers in the course of their study at faculties of education. The education of the adult population can be improved by introducing modern forms of educational activities focused on crisis management and by increasing the sense of responsibility and improving the attitude towards education in selected groups of the population having important decision-making competences. The education in the field of crisis management is being implemented based on legal regulations and supplementing documents of the State Safety Council
