If a situation occurs that child's proper upbringing and favourable development are at risk and parents cannot or are not able to solve this situation by themselves, the child is, according to act on social and legal protection of children, considered as endangered (Act No. 359/2009 Coll., on social and legal protection of children). Social rehabilitation is one of the services that helps both the family and the child. One of the services to help the family or the child is very social rehabilitation. This service puts great emphasis on strengthening the relationship between parent and child, to consolidate and strengthen mutual family ties (Act no. 108/2006 Coll,. On social services). Children's Center in Strakonice in 2006 was appointed for the social protection of children. A key task of the children's center is with the family to communicate, collaborate and solve problems rationally. Without the active participation of the family, or at least one of its members, this is almost impossible. The importance of children's centers influencing the active involvement of the family in the process of social rehabilitation Mgr. Martin Karas engaged in his dissertation. Here, highlights one of several problems, which is insufficient and unsystematic support the family by helping institutions. Inadequate aid could prevent the timely return of the child back to the biological family. The dissertation is closely monitoring a very important aspect, which is the active participation of parents in problem solving. The aim of the article is to draw attention to the fact that active cooperation with the family and especially their point of view, it is very important criterion partnerships. The intention of this article is to tell to what knowledge we have reached the realization of several interviews with those who are still in the process of social rehabilitation, or it has been successfully completed.
