Der Beitrag beschäftigt sich mit ausgewählten Beispielen des technischen Erbes von Sűdbőmen und Oberősterreich, die Zeugnisse der hundertjährigen tschechisch-ősterreichichen Wirtschaftkontakte sind. Beide Regionen durchliefen schrittweise eine gemeinsame Entwicklung im Rahmnen der Habsburger Monarchie und später dan in Ősterreich-Ungarn. Erst die Neuordnung Mitteleuropas nach dem Ersten Weltkrieg sowie die Entstehung der Tschechoslowakischen Republik und der Ősterreichischen Republik haben beide Regionen durch eine Staatsgrenze getrennt. Danach wurden sie aufgrund der nationalsozialistischen Okkupation und des Zweiten Weltkrieges wieder miteinander verbunden. Nach dem Ende des Zweiten Weltkrieges waren beide Regionen bis zum Jahr 1989 erneut getrennt. Zurzeit sind sie wieder im Rahmen der Europäischen Union vereint.

This contribution deals with some technical monuments of South Bohemia and Upper Austria which are the testimonies of hundreds of years long Czech-Austrian economic contacts. Both regions gradually went through from the mutual development within the Habsburg monarchy and later within the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The situation after the 1st World War, establishment of the Czechoslovak Republic and Austrian Republic, when both regions were separated by the state border. Then both regions were connected by the Nazi occupation and the Second World War. After the war, the regions were separated again until the year 1989. Now both regions are reconnected within the EU.
