Es wird gezeigt, dass Wolff sie als Bestandteil eines staatlich gelenkten öffentlichen Bildungssystems aufgefasst hat. Die Staatsbürger sollen der allgemeinen Schulpflicht unterliegen.

The article discusses the role of an academy of sciences within the state as it was conceived in the natural law of Christian Wolff. We show that Wolff saw it as a part of a public educational systém, which was supposed to be provided by the state. The citizens were obligated to go to school.
