Le prédicat verbonominal à verbe support (PVS) apparait comme l’un des objets principaux de l’École lexicogrammaticale, fondée par Maurice Gross dans les années 70, qui postule entre autres l’inséparabilité du lexique de la grammaire et la phrase simple en tant qu’unité minimale. Une dizaine d’années plus tôt, Jan Šabršula avait déjà examiné le rôle de certaines constructions verbonominales dans l’expression de « l’ordre du procès » en français. Son travail est remarquablement compatible avec la conception lexicogrammaticale française, c’est pourquoi il pourrait être qualifié de pionnier lexicogrammatical. Cette contribution analyse la valeur aspectuelle qu’amène un PVS avec le déterminant singulier un/une. Une telle construction correspond régulièrement à la semelfactivité dont le sens de numéral (une fois) prend son origine dans plusieurs explications (un résultat, une action etc.). Cependant, l’article indéfini n’introduit pas toujours un nom comptable et la construction respective s’explique selon d&apos;autres valeurs aspectuelles en termes de (petite) quantité ou en termes de telicité. Cet article préconise l’approche lexicogrammaticale mais y apporte, également, plusieurs modifications, surtout sous l’angle de l’aspect lexical, grâce aux corpus linguistiques.

Light verb constructions (LVC) represent an important object of study of the French Lexicogrammatical school. This school was founded by Maurice Gross in 1970 on principles such as the phrase being the minimal unit of analysis and the inseparability of lexis and grammar. About ten years prior to that, Jan Šabršula examined the aktionsart of French LVC. Since his approach is remarkably compatible with the French Lexicogrammatical school, he can be called a lexicogrammatical pioneer. The objective of this contribution is to deepen Jan Šabršula’s analysis by imposing lexical aspect tests and using the real corpora contexts. The article un/une in singular is generally interpreted in terms of semelfactive aspectuality. However, with the primary numeral sense being weakened, the light verb construction is explained by telicity or (small) quantity. This work justifies the lexicogrammatical approach by looking at the aspect as a sum of all the relevant elements in the phrase.
