Das Kapitel befasst sic hmit Stadtbüchern aus Pelhřimov und Umgebung, die im Mittelalter und früh Neuzeit bis 1600 entstanden sind. Es untersucht nicht nur deren grundlegende Gemeinsamkeiten, aber auch lokale, inhaltliche und zeitliche Besonderheiten. Darüber hinaus werden verschiedene Möglichkeiten zur Veröffentlichgng dieser Bücher in Form von Editionen erörtert.
