Der Autor analysier das Kanzional von Johannes Roh und das Gesangbuch Cithara sanctorum, wobei er seine Aufmerksamkeit der marianischen Frömmigkeit widmet, als einem Ort, wo sich die Frömmigkeit von Lutheranern und böhmischen Brüdern trifft. Die Frömmigkeit von Brüdern betont freilich in diesem Zusammenhang eine aktive Nachfolge Christi, während lutherische Tradition bei Maria die Erretung aus reiner Gnade akzentuiert. Beide Gesangbücher belegen die Bedeutung von marianischen Thematik in Mainstream derböhmischen Reformation. Im Schlussteil befasst sich der Autor noch mit der marianischen Thematik im gegenwärtigen Jugendgesangbuch Svítá, in dem - bei der kalvinistichen Betonung der Suverenität Gottes über den Mächtigen dieser Welt - z.B. das Magnificatals ein Protestsong konzipiert ist. analyzuje Rohův kancionál a zpěvník Cithara sanctorum.

The author analyses the hymnbook by Jan Roh and the Cithara Sanctorum hymnbook. He gives particular attention to traditional Marian devotion where the Brethren and Lutheran traditions meet; the Brethren tradition emphasises the importance of actively following Christ whereas the Lutheran one emphasises salvation by grace alone. Both hymnbooks prove the significance of Mary and all she stands for in the life and liturgy of a major stream of the Czech reformation. Finally the writer remarks on the returnof Marian devotion in the current youth hymnbook of the Czech Evangelical Church, Svita [The Dawn]. However, the same hymnbook also shows the Calvinist emphasis on God's authority over the powerful of this world (i.e. the Magnificat as protest song).
