Lokalitětot Vrbjanska Čuka presdstavuva tumba karakteristična za pelagonskiot pegnoh i se naoga 1,3 km južno od Slavei i isto tolku istočno od Vrbjany. Toj e iskopuvan vo nekolku vo navrati vo periodot mégu 1979 i 1989 godina a novi multidisciplinarni istražuvaňa na obaa tumba započanaa vo 2016 godina. Pritoa, na nego ce vršeše iskopuvanie vo prostor od 15 x 10 m kade što registriraa 2 kuki so pečki, ogništa, parapeti i platformi vo nivnata vnatrešnost. Materialnata kultura gi sordži karakteristikite na pelagonskiot neolit, no isto taka se pronajdoa u ostatoci od antičkiot i srednovekovniot period. Pokraj iskocuvanego i dokumentiranego na archeološkiot materiál při obogodišnoto istražu vane se vršeše archeobotanička analýza na organskige primeroci, geomagnetno skeniranie na celata površina, digitalno topografcko modeliranie na tumbata i nejzina3D rekonstrukcija, kako i rekognozciranije na pregistorickige lokaliteti okolu Vrbjanska Čuka. Vakviot multidisciplinaren pristap ovozmoži mnogu novi podatoci i potemelno razviranie na procesige vo koi se razvivala ovaa nacelba.

The site Vrbjanska Čuka represents one of the more characteristic Neolithic settlements in Macedonia. It was discovered in 1977, throughout the building works. The excavations campaign were carried in 1979 to 1982, then in 1987 to 1989, whereupon it was confirmed that the site had several cultural layers dating from different periods. Research in 2016 had to be continued on the field and on the site, but also in the cabinet, laboratory, and moreover by complementing the existing knowledge with new data. During the summer, a small probe excavation was made in the central area of the tell, size: 15 x 10 meters, corresponding to the research in the 1980's. The tell was also documented by GPS points, and by the creation a digital topography model with a consistency illustration for the outlook of the tell. As result of the multi-disciplinary approach in this archaeological project, also archaeobotanical sampling was done of the organic materials found in the settlement, accordingly giving valuable results. For these reasons a number of soil samples were preserved for analysis, but also examples of charcoal, and samples of organic materials for a C14 and AMDz analysis. The provided data from the research in 2016 has confirmed that Vrbjanska Čuka was a complex site, although it was a small settlement. It was developer in an environment favourable for villages in the Neolithic and the Eneolithic period, which is indicated with the prospection during the excavation. The great concentration of tells in a small micro area is a characteristic of the Neolithic period in Pelagonia, and is linked to large areas which have wetlands and fertile soil. In this manner there could be an insight of the appearance of the first forms of agriculture in this part of Pelagonia, and how they influenced the structure of the Neolithic society, and its gradual transformation into following prehistoric phases.
