Die schwierige Unterscheidung zwischen Realität und Virtualität, zwischen Fakt und Fiktion, Nutzer und Leser sowie zwischen Autor und Erzähler wird zur untrennbaren Eigenschaft digitaler Literatur. Am Beispiel von "Datenpoesie" (2018) des österreichischen Künstlers Jörg Piringer untersucht der Artikel die Grenze zwischen einem elektronischen Gerät als Medium, das mit dem traditionellen Träger wie dem Buch konkurriert, und einem technologischen Format, das bereits Auswirkungen auf die Gattungen hat.

Using the example of “Datenpoesie” (2018) by the Austrian artist Jörg Piringer, the article examines the boundary between an electronic device as a medium competing with the traditional carrier such as books, and a technological format that already has effects on the genres.
