For increasing of region growth and development it is possible generally use human sources, capital sources and natural resources, among which it is possible fold above all ground, mineral raw materials and energetic raw materials. The paper deals with evaluation of region economic performance from standpoint of investigation the influence the natural resources on location economic development. Jihočeský (South Bohemia) county is monitored . The natural sources influence on region performance is under reviewed especially by the help of added values. The end of work is aimed at examination of usage these sources toward to strengthen economic development and growth South Bohemia . By the analysis of situation was found out that the region otherwise doesnot manage with significant raw materials source and ground with higher productivity, but main region potential totally compensates these shortcomings, and that's nature of South Bohemia.
