Differences in the land rent between EU countries
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The aim of the paper is to assess the differences in the influence of land rent on farm production efficiencies by region, farming type and LFA. In terms of the cost of rents exist within the European Union significant differences between countries. While in Estonia, the average land rent in the amount of 14 EUR/ha, then in the Netherlands is almost 900 EUR/ha (in 2009). High variability may be seen also at the share of rented land, which ranges from 17.4% to 96.1%. Along with the intensity of production, then these factors affect the efficiency of production. Significant differences in land rents and land rent/revenues can be found not only across the EU, but there are also at the national level between farming specializations. These differences are assessed using a static shift share analysis (influence of land rents by farming type, the influence of the structure of land and the mutual impact). Using dynamic shift share analysis is reviewed the development of land rent in the period
