Rosa Luxemburg in the historical trend of economic thinking
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Rosa Luxemburg (1871 - 1919) German journalist and politician of Polish-Russian origin also belonged to the theorists of Marxist political economy. She dealt with issues of capital accumulation, reproduction, development, socio-economic and political changes. Capitalism was the main cause of international tension and instability. She argued that capitalism must expand into undeveloped countries because it suffers from a chronic lack of aggregate demand. She is described as an important representative of the European socialist and communist movement of Jewish origin. As a Marxist theorist and radical politician, she has gradually emerged as the Social Democratic Party of the Kingdom of Poland and Lithuania, the Social Democratic Party of Germany, the Independent Social Democratic Party of Germany and the Communist Party of Germany. Her political activities make her a controversial personality, especially with her active participation in an attempted violent coup in Germany in January 1919. In her approach to economic science, he applied materialistic dialectics and a logical-historical method. Her name is associated with the beginnings of feminism in economic theories.
