This case study demonstrates that community forestry enterprises, cooperatives, and social enterprises(CFCSEs) play a key role in transforming into sustainable and resilient communities in the COVID -19 pandemic.CFCSEs have helped overcome the socio-economic impacts of the COVID -19 pandemic in Tulsipur, Dang Nepal. Manyworkers returned to the village from abroad and cities after losing their jobs due to the COVID -19 pandemic. The localgovernment, Green Foundation Nepal, and many other local cooperatives and community forestry user groups jointlydeveloped a special plan and program targeting returnees to provide livelihoods through CFCSEs in the city of Tulsipurin Nepal. The case study demonstrates the important role that community forestry, cooperatives, and social enterprisesplay in promoting inclusive and sustainable development at the grassroots level. Strong partnerships between and withincooperatives and local community and social enterprises can help strengthen the movement&apos;s emerging role as a centralactor in transforming into sustainable and resilient societies.
