Název v původním jazyce
Common agricultural policy and its influence on Slovak and Czech agricultural economic results
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Although the share of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) in the EU budget has decreased over the years, it still constitutes a significant part of the EU's total expenditure. It significantly affects the economic, environmental, and social aspects of agriculture. Mutual ties between Slovakia and the Czech Republic remain strong despite the division due to similar social principles and traditions. The entry of both countries into the EU allowed them to apply their common policies and principles, be part of the free market, and draw on its resources. The contribution will try to summarize the development of both countries in the context of this one under the basic policies of the EU - the CAP. The paper aims to evaluate the economic situation of Slovak and Czech agricultural enterprises and the impact of the CAP on development trends in the agricultural sector of both countries.
