During 2012 and 2013, 21 localities with variyng frequency of Pectinatella magnifica ocurrence were investigated in Trebon region. Loclities were classified into three groups: controls without the occurrence of P. magnifica colonies, localities with occasional or infrequent occurrence of P. magnifica and localities with a massive invasion of P. magnifica. Controls were localities communicating with localities with occurrence of P. magnifica (connecting channel, the same water resource, the same pond system, near distance etc.). All three groups of localitiens included production and recreational fishponds with different intensity of fishery management and various stages of trophy (mezotrophy, eutrophy to hypertrophy) and mezotrophy to oligotrophy flooded sand pit. Physical, hydrochemical and hydrobiological parameters were determined. Parameter differences between the localities were treated by ANOVA and post-hoc tests for p=0.05.
