The study presents the results of experiments with controlled reproduction of females of about twenty fish species with different hormonally preparations. The single injection administration of following different preparations was applied for the induction of ovulation: two synthetic analogues of gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRHa), dopaminergic inhibitors and combined preparations (containing GnRHa and dopaminergic inhibitors). The results of propagation were presented in the percentage of ovulating(stripped) females, fecundity parameters and latency time (time interval between injection and ovulation). In the majority of fish species - sterlet (Acipenser ruthenus), grayling (Thymalus thymallus), pike (Esox lucius), tench (Tinca tinca), common carp (Cyprinnus carpio), ide (Leuciscus idus), grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella), rudd (Scardinius erythrophthalmus), gudgeon (Gobio gobio), barbel (Barbus barbus), vimba bream (Vimba vimba), European catfish (Silurus glanis), Euroasian p
