OBJECTIVES (1) Development of the most suitable methodological framework for contemporary armed conflict analysis. (2) Identification of best practices on capability assessment with main focus on capability shortfalls identification, operational risks assessment and prioritization. (3) Development of methodological framework for generic scenarios in a design phase and validation of set of generic scenarios. INTENDED OUTCOMES (1) Methodology for research of contemporary armed conflicts. (2) Methodology for identifying capabilities shortfalls, conducting operational risks assessment related to capabilities shortfalls and their prioritisation. (3) Methodological for generic scenarios development. (4) Set of validated generic scenarios informing both capability planning and operational concept development.
