The lecture was based on the outcomes of the analytical work done by the Centre for Security and Military Strategic Studies in area of security environment and operational environment. This analysis is an overarching study including, besides analysis of operating environment , analysis of security environment and last but not least analysis of trends in defence industry and technology. Basically, the synthesis of these three analyses is to identify perspectives, trends having a significant impact on development of capabilities of the Czech Armed Forces in the perspective of the mid-term time-horizon, i.e. 10 to 15 years.
